Talk about a dreamy engagement session! Taylor and Ben wanted a waterfront engagement session with coastal, romantic, and boho vibes. I think we captured just what they were envisioning! Plus, the sunset really wanted to show out for us.
Since the beach is one of their favorite places, it was only natural to have a coastal-like engagement session. Taylor and Ben were complete natural’s in front of the camera, even though they shared they aren’t used to being in front of one.
Taylor and Ben met through happenstance as both their roommates were dating each other. They actually all still go on double dates and their roommates have since married. It’s full-circle now that Taylor and Ben will also be getting married.
Their first date was not what either one of them would have picked. But, their roommates invited them to double-date a haunted house. Since Taylor and Ben both wanted to spend more time together they decided to go. Taylor says it was terrifying but so worth it.
For their actual choice of dates, they love spending time at wineries. In fact, one of their first more formal dates was to a winery where they had dinner reservations afterward. They ended up having such a good time that they pushed back their dinner reservation to a later time slot.
They got engaged in early July near Taylor’s parent’s beach house. After dinner, Taylor and Ben (along with Taylor’s family) decided to go The Point bar afterwards for drinks and live music. It was there at the boardwalk that Ben popped the question. Taylor’s mom had even hired a photographer to capture the moment and Ben surprised Taylor with both families waiting at the bar to celebrate.
Here’s to October 2022 when Taylor and Ben officially tie-the-knot at the Bayside Resort Country Club. I can’t wait for your day!
