The wedding…

On their Cescaphe wedding day, Lorena and Brett got ready at the Canopy Hotel in center city Philadelphia. Gloss Studio did an amazing job as always with their hair and makeup. After Lori got dressed, she had a first look with her PopPop prior to taking their Cescaphe Trolley to Head House Square. At Head House Square, Lori and Brett shared their private first look. Their wedding party and family met them shortly after, and they proceeded to do family portraits and wedding party portraits at Head House Square prior to heading to the Cescaphe Ballroom.

The day went smoothly and had a lot of special moments between the bride and groom. Their ceremony in the ballroom was great. They celebrated their marriage with their close friends and family in the bridal suite prior to going to cocktail hour. At their cocktail hour, there was a custom ice sculpture that incorporated a couple of bees as a symbol of them meeting on the online dating platform, Bumble. They shared their choreographed first dance that no one knew they had prepared. During their first dance, there was a flower petal cannon that showered the dance floor with flower petals. Their cake cutting got a little rowdy, but that is how Lori and Brett are. They like to have a great time and be silly with one another.

The beginning…

Lori and Brett met on the dating app, Bumble, and went on their first date at a restaurant where they talked for hours until Lori lost her voice the next day. Little did they know that that one swipe would change their lives so drastically. They’ve been inseparable ever since and love exploring, going on road trips, and hanging out with family.

Their proposal took place in Mexico during an excursion where Brett surprised Lori with a photographer who she initially thought was the tour guide. Good job Brett sneaking it right past her! Both of them cried tears of joy, and Lori was thrilled to say yes to spending the rest of her life with the man of her dreams.

Lori and Brett describe themselves as a quiet couple who are passionate about advancing in their careers and becoming parents. They have two dogs named Arlo and Addie who they love dearly. On their perfect weekend, they like to stay at home, watch TV, and enjoy each other’s company.

Their engagement session was elegant and old-fashioned, capturing the couple’s unique personalities and love for one another. Lori and Brett felt that they aren’t the most photogenic people, but they trusted us to make them look good, and the results were stunning.
