If I had to choose one of my favorite aspects of Jenn and Paulo’s West Chester engagement session it would be Jenn’s contagious smile and laughter. She radiates joy and capturing their engagement photos was a day well spent.
Jenn and Paulo met and first dated in West Chester so, naturally, we took engagement pictures around the borough. I personally love when couples choose a location that is special to them for their engagement session.
We first went to a local park and then made our way downtown. Their pup, Kiko, even made an appearance in a few of their engagements.
One thing that I found interesting about how they met, is they actually had a mutual friend who had been trying to introduce them to one another for over a year. Paulo finally made the first move by messaging her if she’d like to go to dinner. She agreed and they haven’t stopped talking since.
Most of their dating and engagement season has been midst the pandemic, but prior to closings, they had a date at Barnes and Noble. They actually went to the children’s section to share their favorite childhood books with each other. Once done, they actually bought the books and donated them to the Chester County Hospital. This just gives you a slight glimpse of how genuinely sweet they are as individuals and together as a couple. This is a new date idea that I love recommending.
They love being outdoors and in March went to The Pump House for the weekend. It was there that Paulo got down on one knee and asked Jenn to marry him. Happy tears followed and now they are planning their wedding.
I can’t wait to capture their wedding in March at The Barn on Bridge. Kiko may make an appearance, too. Who knows?
