Megan + Rob | Intimate February wedding at Embassy Suites

Megan and Rob met while they were working together and soon started dating in July of 2016. They learned that they both share a love of Mexican food, camping, and shooting. Ironically enough, their first date was shared at Border Cafe in Newark, Delaware. It didn’t take Rob long to know that he wanted to spend his life with Megan. In less than two years, Rob was down on one knee asking Megan to marry him.

It’s no wonder they’re deeply in love. They have both told me that one of the things that they love about their now spouse is how they always have each other’s backs. While raising two amazing young kids, having each other’s backs builds a strong family bond that is very easy to see with them. I learned this first hand during our engagement session at Brandywine Creek State Park.For their wedding, Megan and Rob planned a beautiful winter wedding to celebrate the next chapter of their lives. With beautiful burgundy and white flowers, Megan and Rob’s color palette was gorgeous, complementing the dresses and suits worn by the wedding party. Megan and Rob knew they wanted a wedding day where guests could enjoy just one location – not having to travel between spots for the ceremony and reception, so Embassy Suites worked perfectly for them.

They each got ready in their suites, shared a first look at Newark History Museum (a prior train station that is now converted to a museum), tied the knot in the banquet room, and celebrated the night away! They took full advantage of everything Embassy Suites has to offer and it was perfect.

My favorite part of the day was the multiple moments shared by Megan and Rob that were full of pure emotion. It’s very easy to see their bond and love for one another.
