The beautiful Loews Hotel provided the perfect getting-ready space for Laura + Matthew’s winter wedding at the Crystal Tea Room by Finley Catering. Matthew prepared for the day amongst his closest friends and family, taking a moment to record the vows that he would share privately with his bride-to-be. Laura and her bridal party spent the morning with Gloss Hair while they began to celebrate their day.

Being a December wedding, Laura, Matthew, and I were closely watching the weather. Having done their engagement session not too long ago in Philadelphia, we were all too aware of how windy and cold it can get. During their engagement session, we sought refuge in the Loews Hotel for warmth (and some additional photos). I know that I alone felt spoiled when we ended up with clear skies, temperatures in the 50s, and little to no wind! From the first look, to couples portraits, it was so nice to see Laura + Matthew having a great time (and not freezing)!

Laura + Matthew shared their private first look at City Hall where they also shared personally written vows with one another. I am a sucker for historical architecture, but even more so when it helps tell their love story. The textures of City Hall in Philadelphia really shined a special moment between Laura + Matthew. I’m so pleased with the special moments that they were able to share with one another.

Laura + Matthew’s Crystal Tea Room wedding was our last wedding for the 2022 year. This year was a very busy year for us and it’s weddings like Laura + Matthew’s that remind me just how much I love what I do. I can’t imagine a better couple, family, and friends to have celebrated with. It really shows in this blog post as I can’t remember the last time that so many images have been included in their blog. When Laura + Matthew spoke with me about their plans I just knew that this was going to be a very special Philadelphia wedding for them. Finley Catering provides amazing service and the Crystal Tea Room is hands down one of my favorite venues in Philadelphia.

It was easy to see and feel the love that surrounds both Laura + Matthew during their ceremony and reception. Several memories and stories were shared with us throughout the day and night. EBE Talent kept the dance floor busy all evening long. Their wedding cake by The Master’s Baker was displayed beside the stage for everyone to enjoy as well.
